We did not want to create multiple variations of the same thing that are somewhat similar. We decided to concentrate on the notion that this is an arch-mage"s castle... the world is magical and there"s a sense of excitement, mystery and excitement here. it seemed like a unique enough perspective on Karazhan. To ensure that it doesn"t get confused with other variants of Karazhan that are taking place simultaneously.
There"s a lot of people on the team who and love Karazhan. We"ve probably worn some people out! I"ve been asking for Karazhan from the time of Naxxramas.
