Players are now flocking to servers run by privat
The test world currently contains content that was released in WoW Classic"s first phase however, it also includes more recent improvements to the game like the possibility of purchasing a world buff saving WoTLK Gold item from Chromie that wasn"t available in the original game version. This feature was not available in the vanilla WoW however was added prior to the launch of Burning Crusade Classic. The introduction of the brand new test realm has gamers speculating that it could be a sign that Blizzard plans for new servers with WoW Classic where players can begin their journey in Azeroth by starting over by starting from scratch.

Currently, WoW Classic servers are an empty town. Blizzard demanded players to choose whether to play on what it now calls "Classic Era" servers or going to the first expansion of the game, Burning Crusade Classic, in June. And it appears that the majority of players chose to continue on to Outland instead of remaining in Azeroth. But there is still an entire community of players who prefer WoW Classic to Burning Crusade.
Many of these players are now flocking to servers run by private parties for the game which players are allowed to play for free but are technically illegal. This is the practice that many vanilla WoW players did during the time before Blizzard"s official release of WoW Classic and are currently returning to following an unrelated State of California lawsuit alleging a workplace culture of discrimination and harassment against women at Blizzard and the addition of microtransactions like levels and mounts for Burning buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold Crusade Classic. Some players no longer feel comfortable supporting Blizzard directly.
